ICOBI Board of directors


 

ICOBI is governed by a board that is composed of eight members. The board is responsible for the overall governance issues and policy fomulation in the organization and is mandated to perform tasks as prescribed by the constitution.


Ms Deborah Mwesigye

Deborah is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. She provides direction and guidance in ICOBIs financial and management systems. For long she has been a manager in the Uganda Commodity Exchange (Read more)

Mr. Bernard Mwijuka

As the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Bernard provides direction and guidance with more than 20 years of experience in HIV and social development work. He has served as a consultant worldwide. (Read more)

Ms Dorothy Kabugo

A Lawyer by profession, Dorothy runs Kabugo and company advocates. She serves the board as the Secretary. (Read more)
 

Mr. Dennis Nduhura

Dennis is the Country Director for Agency for Cooperation and Resarch in Development. He serves as Treasurer of the board. (Read more)
 

Dr. Peter Nsubuga

Dr. Nsubuga works with the Ministry of Health, government of Uganda and has technical expertise in health and sustainable livelihoods. (Read more)

Ms. Ruth Katuramu Sande

Ms Sande is an educationist who has headed many Secondary schools in Uganda. She has mentored many people throughout her life time and is a long serving member of the board. (Read more)

Hon. Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye

An accomplished researcher and publisher, Dr. Tumwesigye is the Executive Director of ICOBI and is an ex-official on the Board. He is among the founders of ICOBI. (Read more)
